I have noticed in the past few days that the ads have gotten out of control. Way too big and block content.

    Oh....

I thought it was just me. I recently uploaded the latest security update for my phone (Samsung 21) and it's been acting weird(er). I just figured it was the update. Plus, my phone does weird things anyway, such as the "search" function doesn't work in some websites...

Huh! I dint think about closing the ads. I'll have to try that next time...

I didn't find closing the ads to work but rotating my phone did correct it.

Yep, same here. Phone rotation does help but like most here I don’t see this improving unless the administrator gets involved.

Too bad we can't petition some one to admin that regularly contributes to this site.. a good dozen of us still traffic this site mostly daily..and a hand full are good candidates.. js.. pass the torch! Lol

I wonder if becoming a premium member removes adds entirely?!

New gremlin. When I try to post a new thread the title bar is missing on my iPhone. The narrative box is there, but without title I can’t post. Anyone else?

Haven't had any issues on my phone with this site at all. 2016 Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, so I can't help with your IPhone troubles much. This does sound bothersome for us who are working on stuff on the fly and need to make replies/threads however!

    Sigh....

    I'll be damned.....

Same thing is happening to me, Samsung 21. So not just an iPhone issue.

After a little farking around, I discovered if you use Pearce's suggestion, turn phone sideways to landscape configuration and then back to vertical (portrait) configuration, the ad gets smushed so that the ad creation page including the new thread title bar becomes visible. Much easier than using the "close ad" button.
