honestly I was furious at first. but then I saw it as opportunity and dove in head first... last time i do a tear down like that without ordering parts first lol. damn thing has been idle in the garage for months.

I did order up a driver fender, 89 core support and 95 4 runner headlights. I wanted a 4runner core support but everyone seemed to be out of them or not have them listed for anything under a 96. Mind you I also wanted new, not a used one out of fear that it would be tweaked and what have you. plus these new ones were going for atleast $50-$80 less then a used one that still needed to be cut off a truck.

next on the shopping spree will be corner lights, one peice chrome bumper, 4 runner grill, clear bumper lights and a 4x4 valance. decided to not run the 4runner bumper i have and will be selling it. Also need to decide on running a battery box in the bed or mounting a race battery behind the passenger seat like i did in my 91 civic si when i wanted to start tracking it. I just cant wait to drive this thing again... and scrape up half of vegas doing it lol.

haha i feel ya. im in the centennial area and its still a nice drive for me to head out to Lamb. thinking of going this morning to find a few small items for the conversion and front end rebuild that i dont wanna order online if i dont have to.

btw thanks for the valve cover compliment. my wifes uncle polished it out and then that led to the starions getting polished lol.

it has the chrome upper part right? and the lower valance is black?
    any damage dents?
i already scored the bumper brackets/corner mounts from a 4Runner (as are my front fenders) -to use for my current bumper.
    $20, sounds good

    can u post pics?

It's all metal. Aftermarket company, not oem toyota. Couple of scratches from being moved around (got it from Arizona when we got 2 trucks from a guy).

4runner headlights. grabbed a grill from the junkyard as well. front end is bolted up, side markers are on. removed the brace infront of the transmission and rekeyed the torsion bars.

i need to bring the rear down some and then put together a battle plan of how the hell im going to make it out of my driveway every time im ready to go out haha. :doah:

If I park in the street then I definitely need to make a locking battery box or put it behind the seat. I wish I could leave ramps at the end of my driveway but you see, the way my HOA is setup.. lol

I'm right there with ya, had to raise it just enough to clear the driveway. Scrapes if I have any passengers though. Vegas HOAs are ****

Haha right! Already tore a chunk out with my foxbodies after I put on the long tubes hahah

Removed the middle leaf and flipped the overload last yesterday night. Sitting the the garage now with the passenger rear fender rolled and the driver rear half way done. Glad I need paint anyway with all of the chipping this is doing with the cheap paint job already on the body.

use a heat gun... it wont chip the paint getting it warm and pliable. as for the driveway... find that magic angle... either or put roller skate wheels under the frame..

Have you tried backing into the driveway? Different approach may get you a clear path. And find out what drags, it may be solid and not matter. As for the pavement, eff it

Heat gun wouldn't have mattered, PO had a $200 paint job done right over the oem paint. So I'm not even worried as I need to body & respray it anyway.

magic angle is gonna = parking my lightning across the street so i can utilize the whole driveway lol. I don't mind at all.
