Porting is when you use something like a dremel and different tips to make the ports bigger and smoother to flow more and better.

There's more to it but that's the simple way to put it.

 

Also what do breathers do? And what do you do with both ends where they go connected to?

 

Oh i see btw i checked that website out the lc engineering and theres alot of good shhh for my truck but i didnt see any throttle bodies for a 22r though? I jst saw for like 22re ect

 

ur truck probobly the last of the 88s they made but sold in 89 cool start but i saw make it a 5 speed and lower that thing lol

 

To answer your question, my build is the whole truck,to this date. I change or add winter projects to be competitive at shows each year! Last year I changed all my hardlines & made the notch cover removable to expose the rear bag/link set-up,I also changed the steteo head unit & added LED eye bows into the front bumper. This winders project is 92 Chevy Camaro power mirrors to replace the 4 Runner power mirrors. A more stream line look!!
The engine went in with all the extra parts around 2004.
And the engine is LC'S stage 1 engine, you can go to their site & see the list of parts that go into it,it is 2.5 L. Balanced & blueprinted & dyno break in.
They offer it as a 2.6L stroker engine also!

 

DAMN YOU PUT IN SOME WORK LOL #MY HERO and i will eventually lower it but i first wanted to start with any performance parts once thats done then move on to the body of the truck because the body needs some body work and the same goes for the interior as well...i will post better pictures of my truck so guys can see what i got to work with ...
