What kind of power will that turbo give you? What kinda boost you gonna run? Intercooler planned? Looking great. Keep it up.

I'm hoping for at least 116 hp. :D

I really don't have any set goal, I plan to run about 10 psi of boost, but the engine is capable of 24 lbs.

As far as an intercooler? We're working on it. Bagged and all, space is tight. For now the plan is to run no intercooler and use water/meth injection. I do have a spot that I might be able to fit an intercooler, but I'll have to buy a core and end tanks and custom build it to fit.

If you're gonna run the truck on meth, I'm sure you can find enough junkies to push it to 88 mph doc!

I'm probably going to get another turbo blanket, I cut that one in the wrong spot for the wastegate. Had to flip it over and do it again...

Nice exhaust system. I never have run stainless but I've always heard good things.

That's a way different carrier bearing than my 78. I thought the 79 style was the last change up to them. Nice to know.

Oh, that's not stock. Well, the carrier bearing is, but the rear half of the driveshaft is (I think) what you see. It's from a 95 4x4 4runner front shaft. The carrier is solid now making the trans slip yoke stationary, with a two piece rear half, with a factory 4wd CV joint. ;)

That's been my secret so far, still in the testing stage, but so far so good. I'll do a write up one of these days.

Sounds like a good concept. My leafs have bent slightly pushing my whole driveline forward a hair. It keeps the trans side fully plunged in. Not a bad idea to take care of that. It's something I'll have to address at 4 link time. Move the axle an inch back or something. Good tips buddy.

Some of those items are temporary. Need to get a catch can, or come up with an idea for an interesting one.

Very nice. You gave me some inspiration for my own engine compartment.

Sorry if this is repetitive but, WOW! Have you driven it yet hit the dyno? I am planning on doing an engine swap later in my build but I have heard some things about running a reverse four link with high HP engines. My main concern is in the lifting of the bed during acceleration. Have you experienced that and if so, how much? I hope that it is negligible because I am going to be installing the same set up as you from KBS so this is something that I have been contemplating for a while. As of now, I have been planning to do it in front of the axle. It requires more work but Lumpy told me that is has been ran that way before. I hope you have some great news for me...

Haven't noticed any issues yet. That being said, I'm not going crazy with the power, 7 or 8 psi right now. Did a long break in drive tonight with a good number of hard pulls, no squirreliness or handling issues at all.

Well, I would like to do a 1UZ-FE swap so I have been told that in front of the axle is the best way to do it. I was starting to think that it was just preference because I have not seen any real proof that it was significant enough to keep me from doing it.
