just an update on how it came out but here is how it finally sits at the recomended height 4/3 (instead of the 3/3 he wanted originally) sits now on starion wheels, 16x7 front on 205/55 and 16x8 rear 205/55.

yeah..... he didnt want to go low just a subtle drop. given what he described to me i told him to go with a 55 series tire since i know the 50 is a bit more performance oriented size. the 55 will still be sporty but give a more comfortable ride. the 205 is a good tire to keep the drag and bump steer down.

i used to have 225/50/16s all around on my hilux. if youve seen my fender flaring...those are why. haha. a 205 would have been better, with a 5mm spacer. but yeah, for what it looks like he wants its perfect. taller tires are cheaper too. although 205/50 and 225/50 are common ford sizes. probes and focuses mostly.

no, actually, he had purchased them a while back, even before he bought the truck. he had explained to me before he had even seen my truck that about a year or so ago he had seen a picture of this "truck" slammed on starions..... he saved the picture and had it on his phone since then and wanted a truck just like it. when he showed me the photo, it was a picture of my truck parked out front of the house right after i had dropped it to the height its at now...... it had a different front end at the time but he didnt recognize it sitting in the driveway......

that was funny...... i know my trucks been talked about in places im likely still not even aware of, fokai has mentioned a few hawwaii places and of course guam sites too so...... i can only imagine where my trucks been seen at

    Haha. AHHH....stardom :D

I bet mine is the same way. People come up to me I don't even know and say they love seeing it around. I'm still really diggin starions...damnit...I might need to find a set to test fit around here with some 50 series tires already on them. Anybody local got them? Don't say shonuff...he doesn't. Lol
