Super rad truck. Love the low work truck character it has. Did you gold leaf the tailgate logo? Nice work on the stripping too. I'm gonna take a few styling ques when I strip my next truck up.

I have launched a shock into the road too. I found that putting big washers with a longer bolt helps. And put a second nut on the upper side of the control arm. Solved my issues.

    Thanks for the compliments.

The tailgate logo is actually a magnet and its in copper leaf/ hand painted. The striping was really simple but I think it adds a lot of character.

The beverage can is a "true blonde ale" from ska brewing here in Colorado.

I was shaking opening up all the parts boxes.

For shocks I had ordered pinto front shocks but its kind of a bitch to mount them. The pinto uses a through bolt and the bushing are a lot smaller. I destroyed the pinto bushing trying to press in the Toyota lower mount and the fell out after a week of driving so I have some thick rubber mat as a bushing. Hoping it will work. I just did a ball joint flip so now it seems the shocks might be a little short, I'll have to see once the engine is installed.

I picked up my block and pistons from the machine shop yesterday and bought paint to paint the block, valve cover and the misc brackets. My 2k clear may take a few days to ship so assembly may be delayed. Still hoping to make my July 6th deadline though.

I like where you moved the coil. Nice clean looking parts. I should sandblast some of my stuff and paint it. Good project idea once I finish the interior. Keep up the nice work.

The engine as of last night. Glad I'm doing mock up, there's been some parts that have a questionable fit that needed a bit of modification.

Milehigh, come out to golden on the 6th. There's usually a good size group of mini trucks out there.

Coolant resivour solution since I've moved my coil to the factory resivour location.

I should be making a lot of progress today so stay tuned.
