Mounted with 185/65/15 winter Ipike studded tires.

I've got to say, the sound of studded tires hitting inner fender well at 65mph is a lot worse that the sound of a frame hitting the pavement at 65mph.... I may have to tweak the front suspension a bit.

Nice truck. I've seen you a couple times in Brighton. Didn't know there were many people here in CO. I just finished my 22RE rebuild and starting to lay mine on the ground. Hit me up sometime. I'm always looking for parts

Really Like the Truck! I passed up a set of aluminum wheels like you have on the first page and now you make me really regret it! The track shot with the shell and Ladder is awesome! Keep up the good work!

Sooo.... sorry guys, life kinda got in the way of the truck. It's sitting in my garage now with bad rings and a blown head gasket waiting for the engine to get pulled out. I seemed to have put a few too many miles on it driving it for work.

I kicked the ol' datsun project out to be able to pull the yota in.

Speaking of work. Got a new job.
The Big one in the back is what I drive 5 days a week.

I do this kinda thing with it.

And been crackin at my "other job" pretty hard.

    Back to the truck.
Picked up a W55 a few months back and cracked into the shift selector cover to find some messed up bushings. Pulled them out and ordered an aluminum lower bushing, still need to order the derlin upper.

Funny thing is, that transmission was pulled out of a truck in the scrap yard and it was that clean.

    To answer your questions:
The interior is that last thing I'm worrying about right now. Hadn't really done anything since the last update.

The hood vinyl is doing pretty good. The seams are pulling apart a bit because the vinyl is shrinking.

No adapters on either set of wheels. Both came off of Jeep Cherokees, bolt pattern is the same and the center bore is big enough.

Thanks for the compliments and I'll hopefully have updates this weekend... hopefully.

    Until then.

Just letting you guys know this project is still moving, I've just been collecting parts for the engine build.

After pulling the engine out and stripping it down I decided to clean up the engine bay. Removed all the extra wiring, moved the coil off of the fender well, waxed the paint and re painted all the black with vht suspension black.

I'm working out of my tiny 1 car garage after work and between car shows and pinstriping gigs bit I'm hoping to have it finished by the first Saturday of July for the golden super cruise. A huge cruising event in golden Colorado. Tonight I stripped the block and will take it to the machine shop sometime this week. I hate giving myself deadlines but I need to get this truck finished.

Well, block, pistons and rods are off to the machine shop for boiling, boring, balancing, shot peening, and assembly. It should be ready by Thursday.

Btw if you haven't replaced the 3 shift bushings in your transmission I would highly recommend it. Lower is machine aluminum.

After doing a ridiculous amount of research and a few dead end archive threads I finally found one on ebay. Its a force fit so no glue required.
