so im thinking of new seats, and my mate has an 84 toyota celica, sitting in my yard, he is using it for parts, and the seats look ok, so ill give em a go. Ill get a pic soon.

And ive done some changes to the leafsprings. There is three leafs, so i took the bottom one, which is the shortest, and placed iton the top and flipped it, then replaced the 4inch blocks with 2.5inch blocks. There is about 2cm between the axle and the bumpstop, :/ haha.
I have to cut the bump stops even further now.
I took it for a ride, and its a lot smoother. The advantage of flipping the leaf this way is that it straightens out all the leafs, so they dont bow downwards as much, and you dont need to flip all the leafs, just the smallest one. :D

    ah nw its ok. :p

Yeah even lower, axles are very close to the bump stops. Yeah i took pics, tried uploading but its so slow and sometimes doesnt work when doing it on my mobile.
When i get on PC ill upload em.
took it for a drive to test it, and i went down a gravel road, and was doing fair speed, amd didnt see a massive pothole, hit it and rear end bounce up, rear tyres got air and it slammmed down so hard.. Man, i was so angry. Could have damaged something.
So i done a massive burnout as soon as i hit tarmac, haha!

    started on roll pan.
Still gotta bend bottom even, finish side and top/inside welds, and weld up number plate.
Then grind and body filler i guess.

itll get there, haha. Got my material for trims, stil waiting on an order for speaker pods/spacers to fit 6inch with splits.
I dont think ill do the headlining until lux is painted though.
I take heaps of pics, but they are taken on my phone, so it takes longer to upload, and even then sometimes the website buttons wont work, :/
    Heres pics then..
    -Front end, with new headlights.
-rear end height, not low enough! Only got an inch suspension travel, with an inch of bumpstop left.
Im considering a tub/body drop. I dont want to bag it yet. Which comes first? Bags/c-notch/retubbing, or body drop? You think itd be good to just drop tub/body over chassis and itll look a heap lower? Whats involved in a tub/body drop anyway? I know the cabin floor needs cutting and raising.... But what about tub. Time to search forums, but on the phone... Long proces haha.
    -4 channel amp
-and the pair of 6inch with splits.

Looking good man i would say do the trims cause you can finish all the stereo stuff at once this way, put amp in, put speakers in, then the trim to finish it off.

True, but i want to do custom build behind seats with two subs the mono block amp n 4chnl amp and two 6inch speakers.
But i have to do sunroof, headliner, refit rear trims, then measure up and build sub box. So full sound system will have to wait.

I wanna see how the sunroof works out. I want to do one or a ragtop but those suck in winter.
