Cool, I posted the info in the events thread. I am heading to Haywire... Could not go to Relaxing in SoCal so I'm making it to this one. It better not disappoint!

 

Small update: I just got a box full of parts to put on the truck tomorrow. And I'll be picking up my spindles, an ls400 brakes.

Small update: The coolant crossover tube from the bottom of the intake manifold broke a bolt head the other day, and dropped coolant everywhere. I sourced a new manifold off of a celica, had to have a new tab welded on for the resonator chamber on the intake, bolted it back together, and NO LEAKS!

While I was at it, I polished the efi logo on the plenum.

Next on the list, is to paint the valve cover with wrinkle black, wrinkle red, and polish where it says Toyota.

 

So, today I added up total cost into the truck to date, and it's just a hair under $1500, with the cost of the truck.

 

Just got another pile of parts to install. New front shocks, Rear shocks, upper ball joints, and lower ball joints.

 

Picked up a newly rebuild 1UZ-FE.. for $350

It'll be a while before I get the truck together. I need a valve job, and to put the engine back together. I'm also going to throw a set of cams in the motor for some extra tire burning power!
