I had so get it "movable" so I completed most of the suspension to get it down the street 2 blocks because my wife and I bought a house. This is a couple of videos I made after I got it to the new house...

Progress was at a stand still until today when I re-wire a breaker box that was in my back yard. It was used for a Jacuzzi that was not there so I changed out the breaker and wired it up and I am back in business. There is more things that I need to do but as it is the frame is 2.25 of the ground and the trans X-member is touching.

    Stay tuned...

It's been a long time since I was on here to update anything but I guess that is what happens when you are a new home owner. I did not touch the truck for a while because the wife and I had been planning for the baptism of our three kids and doing some backyard improvements. Baptism is over, after party is over, backyard work is over... for now.

    Before...

    During...

    After...

    Anyways...

So I have been back at it again to try to get my truck laying frame. I bought new wheels and I am making room for them currently. I also got my cross member in and worked a little on my exhaust after getting new headers. I am almost done with the fab work then it will be time to plumb and wire it up in time to get it all in primer before winter.

    Here are the pix...

So I got excited and scored a sweet deal on some STR 18X9s and wrapped them in 215/45R18...

So then I got to work on my trans cross member...

Out with the old, in with the new...

I ordered an OBX Racing header and test fitted it to see if it would clear the frame...

Then I started making the way for the rims and tires...

With everything out of the way the tire is level with the front suspension cross member. After the I "Z" the frame I will lay true flat.

I clearanced the wheel tubs for the 1.25" after I "Z" the frame.

    Patching up the holes...

I moved over to the passenger side and am in the middle of finishing that and them I will move to flipping the clutch master cylinder followed by finishing up the exhaust. I also picked up a tailgate that I plan to take the stamped TOYOTA out of it and graphed it in to this tailgate.

They are hard to find unless it's on a truck. I was lucky to find this one on eBay.

    Thanks Drift Disciple

It so happens that Drift Disciple is currently enjoying them. :waytogo:

I definitely could not have made it this far unless I paid someone to do it without a welder. Look into Everlast welders. I love my Power Pro 256S. It's a multi-process 4 in 1. I paid $2000 for the welder and water cooler.

I am sure that there is some close to you with fab skills. There is some one everywhere... whether good or bad. Be careful of bad ones. So you now live in Maryland like the state? How did you get there? I saw you posted many years ago that you lived in SoCal... http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/build-up-project-threads-25/93-toyota-extracab-645/
