D o you have any pictures of it? Is that on the stock Toyota rear end ? +22 I think would be too much with the Ford rear end.

    Bump.

Ive been hectic busy with customers and my girlfriends birthday week. I am still waiting on a few things, but the main issue is that I need new rims and I havent had anyone be able to help with checking. I also need a driveshaft flange adapted on and a brake line. The rear sway bar is also a dirt bolt in, BUT the passenger side shock hits it. I am working on relocating my shock so I can have the sway bar.

Does anyone know how to use measurements to figure a rim specification?

Backspace: 9" (hub surface to first inside obstruction)
Frontspace: 2.5" (hub surface to first outside obstruction, fender lip)
    Centerline: 4.5" (I want to run a 17"x9 rim)
    Offset: ???

I have a 16"x8" -10 offset rim right now and it sticks out about 2.5" too far on both sides.

I got the swap finished up yesterday and took it for a drive.

The 3.73 gears really made the power more usable in the first 2 gears. The limited slip seems to work perfect with no "slip" considering the rear end was from a high mileage junkyard Explorer.

The total cost of the swap from the moment I blew up the 7.5 to the minute I drove it last night was about $650, but rhats because I didnt have to buy any rims or tires yet, I had some layying around that worked.

I need to get the truck on a dyno so I can tune it up and make the most power I can. Right now im running a 650DP on the 302 and its a bit rich. Lean it out a bit while on the dyno and we should be really talking. I have unlimited free dyno time, just have to make an appointment.

For a 17x9 4.5 backspace is measured from lip to lip
Offset is In between the lips so a17x9 4.5 BS is a zero offset rim 4.5 on each side of the rim if I'm understanding your ? Right
