a small c notch in the rear of the frame to recover the lost travel from lowering.

so whenever you hit a bump, the axle doesn't touch the frame. is your crossmember notched for the driveshaft?

Thats what i thought you meant. Havent notched the frame or x-member just yet, but plan to head over to Empire Fabrication to have Sean (TheLoLux) work on it.

Hahaha. Yeah, they are like twins.

And i just shot the entire inside bed with Color-Shift paint. So it shifts from dark purple, to blue to green to black. Heavy metallic finish too, looks crazy!

Where did you get it at? You should do the whole body like that.

Well, i dont mind rattle-can paint for the bed. No way would i paint the body with it.

And it does require a black base coat. So i used VHT Black Expoxy to give it a nice durable base coat before shooting two coats of this stuff. Purchased the cans at Lowes, they are clearance priced $14.95 (from $19.95)

Ill post up a few more pics of it later.

I also just ordered a an Air Lift SlamAir kit so that i can actually put something into bed. I bought a few boxes of tile and was slamming frame and smackin the driveshaft.

Got some notching and bags to install next!

Its a local club. Mostely mixed imports, but i sold off my Lexus SC and bought this little gem. Now im the clubs parts hauler! LOL

Im the first in the group to bring back the Mini Truck (most of us had em back in the day) and gotta tell ya, more of them are now considering picking up truck projects of their own.
