    As you can see i bought some degreaser from autozone "purple power" and it ate up everything aluminum..thats the main reason i painted the valve cover and i was planning on doing a intake/battery swap so i need to get another intake pipe anyway..but it still pissed me off!

    So the purple **** works good as long as nothing is painted? I will remember that. Was any of the vacuum lines or plstic/rubber parts affected?

    nothing was painted and i sprayed it and after i washed it off everything aluminum got ate up n stained and thats y i painted my valve cover..avoid the purple ****.. my buddy had some other brand of degreaser that we used last week and it cleaned up everything fine..dont remember the brand tho

    it didnt harm anything but the aluminum i just got rid of the vacuum lines cus they were ugly

    It does look good with the vacuum lines removed. I would be interested in doing that. Any suggestion of how to do this? Like a write up?

    I seen litneons great thread...search emissions removal..just a few more things to remove n ill be done..it only took like 15 mins and made it look 100 times better

    great thread....just got done reading through it and you've done some great work. question on those seats....how is the fit? how much work were they to get put in? looking for buckets to replace my worn bench.

    thanks man...they pretty much bolted right up i just had to drill 1 hole..i was plannin on just getn any ole pair of buckets and rewrappin them but these looked cool how they were and went good with my interior plans so it worked out perfect..i did have to get the seat belt out of the tiburon too cus the end is attached to the actual seat
