hey man thanks for viewing my thread and thanks for the tip, i'm actually going to be getting my drop spindles in a week. My frame is only 1/4-1/2 from the ground now so 2" will get me there and then some, so i can probably move the ball joints back to their original locations anyways. Keeping checking in more to come and i am SUPPOSED to start on the custom frame with in the next month.

Traded my Integra for a Truck, now i can haul the Toyota around on a trailer! This just shows how serious the Toyota project is to me, i traded a car i put thousands and thousands of dollars into and 1000+ hours of work, for another vehicle thats main purpose is to pull around the Toyota, but i will enjoy this truck too, no big plans for now, maybe some wheels and a 2/4 drop.

Thanks Grant, met the guy for trade in Vicksburg, he is from Monroe, La. Truck has 3rd brake light shaved but its looking pretty ugly, Tweeter and I gotta fix it. Also has alarm/remote start and high flow cats. Alpine h/u with kicker coax's for front and rear's. Was thinking about putting my old school MB quart components in there.
I should be able to post some pics tonight, got all 3 sets of the Toyota bell tech spindles i ordered in yesterday, two pair are tweeters, one pair is mine.

sounds like yall have a fair share of work ahead of yall. i'm getting my brakes at least put back together today and possibly bled. Gotta put in a new relay for the fan too. Maybe it will actually get driven for a change.

Got my used drop spindles in from "Enemy of the State" - thanks man! As well as two more pair i ordered from JEGS for a friend of mine here, we got 3 Toyota builds going at once. Was trying to test fit the used spindles before i blasted and powder coated them, but the factory spindles and ball joints have been there since day one, and the pickle fork and hammer is not cutting it, matter of fact i beat on the pickle fork using a leaf spring stack i had laying around, still no budge on any ball joints. So i'm going to have to use an air chisel, anyways here are a few pics to hold over until i get that done.

Here are my buddy's 2 pair of belltech spindles that i got in from Jegs, btw they are about 270 a pair on there, but i found them on an unreputable site which i posted on another thread for 206 plus 14 handling (site has big issues with going back and changing price after customer ordered, sending damaged parts, wrong parts, poor return service, etc) and i called jegs, and they price matched them, so i got both pair for $428 shipped to my door.

I used a pitman arm puller and they popped right off. No damage to the rubber boots either.

thanks for the compliments, my goals for the next month was to build a frame from 2x3 from scratch; but i talked to a lot of really good long time welders and they tell me that if you mig weld that due to vibration over time, those welds will give way and break. This scares me so i decided instead of building a frame this month, i will just weld in a c-notch to hold me over- since the rear portion of the frame is not load bearing. I will save up and buy me a hydraulic tubing bender, and just build an entire from from scratch. The result will be a better looking, stronger frame with minimum welding.
I'm going to try to order some bags in the next month or two as well so i can get it traveling vertically. As well as mount the bed and start on it.

Barret, hate to say it...but the ones who told you so are wrong. If you ran a 700 hp motor and 24's and drug the ever living piss out of it, I could see the concern, but not a sub-400 hp build, 19's, and taking care of the truck. you have to know what your doing for sure, but theres been many trucks that have been built and drug and driven and have lasted plenty of years for their owners and some that still do. I would only worry if you don't have a decent understanding of welding.

I'm so jealous of the spindles. I wonder if kegs would catch on if I tried for that lil bargain. Lol
