'83 Pickup Mojave sputtering

    As it turned out [eventually] the sputtering was due to a lack of gaskets in between the carb and the intake. A plastic plate that needed a gasket on either side it. I bought a roll of the gasket material and cut a pair of them to fit. It works better, now.

    My wheel cylinders are leaking, since I got new tires on it. I've got a new set, but I'm going to have to get a beastlier ratchet to break the bolts loose on the back of the drums.

    The interior turned out to be in good shape, until I installed a new stereo. I had to take out my oil pressure and battery gauges to mount it with brackets under the vents below the original stereo. I wanted to install it in the dash, but there are these godawful cross-members welded in place that prevent anything of a decent size being installed. :(
