Breaking a balljoint is not an easy thing to do on a properly designed suspension. If you knew all the facts in each case of ones breaking you would probably find that they were getting binded up or topping out or bottombing out. Balljoints dont just break for no reason.

I like the S-10 balljoints because they have a good size, they fit the Toyota spindle and done have a big plate where they bolt on. They use the small cup so they are good for fabricating parts.

Ya I don't know the situation of the ones I fixed, I didn't receive much of the balljoint.

Why not just use the screw in balljoints? Then you don't have to deal with the bolt pattern at all? And they are really cheap, at least the uppers are.

Yeah I've never heard of the srew in type ever breaking, the s10 bj's I saw break were under heavy loads coming down from the air, they were being limited though, I was under the impression that having a larger heavier wheel such as a 20" being pushed hard in to a corner would be the same as far as the leverage factor.when they broke the cup had sheered from the flange.

I dont know of a screw in that fits the Toyota spindle lower hole. Unless Ive just missed it somehow Ive been all over the screw in balljoints. I love using them on everything if I can.

Yes for bags, cans or juice only. No torsion bar setups. They drop the ride height to whatever you want it to be. Theres no comparison since theres no way to mount it to the original spring.

Well I guess I better go ahead and make yours. I think the lengths on these are very good. Hit me with an email and we can work out details.

What I will do is make 2 sets of lowers and 2 sets of uppers. Ill send you one set and have the others on the shelf for orders.

Ill probably send you either uppers or lowers one week then the next week Ill send the others.

    One more update here..

I have had some upper balljoint plates cut for stock Toyota balljoints. Im also having some cut for stock Toyota lower balljoints. Ill have pics of these as soon as I have some made.

Im also thinking of making these available with 3/4" heim joints. Any opinions on that?

You would simply order them without a bag plate and add the coilover mount yourself or let me know the width and diameter of the coilover mount and I could add it to the center of the lower arm. Usually they are placed about where a shock would have been.
