sounds like its getting there but you have a bit of catching up to do. lol. this is at the front crossmember sideways and the area near the front leaf mount on the flat stretch of frame.

i wonder that too. but its an option to consider. would it be worth the small amount of cutting and welding to flip the light knobs to the other side? the glove box door and cluster are more or less swapable.

annnnyways. i finally got a new trans in this tonight. drove it to my buddies place to test drive and have some beers. lol. it drove great. the W55 has a slightly noticeable shorter 1st gear. the bigger issue is my speedo is way off now. it used a 6x17 sender gear. my old one had a 6x19. how would i go about making this accurate again? electric conversion isnt out of the question if i can use junkyard parts and a gauge from a newer car. or am i safe to put my old sender gear in there to make it normal again?

also, i plan to build my rear notch soon, and make taller notches for the exhaust to tuck into. as well as sectioning my carrier crossmember. then i can get the rear down lower about an inch. not sure by what means though. maybe ill do my 4 link finally. but atleast itll stop bottoming out. and scraping everything.

i also have in the works a set of 67 plymouth 14x6 ralley wheels. they should fit the brake upgrades i have planned for the front. as well as tuck past the body. i will be running a 94 crown vic cop car rotor and a 95 4runner caliper. should all fit inside a 14. if not, ill make it fit. lol.

and ill get an in cab video camera mount made up soon too. since people all want a video it seems. lol. the truck is very loud. and surprisingly fast.

I don't understand why certain people out there get fast 20r's and didn't! It's not fair! Pouting....

Seriously though mine is slow as... well you know... And with a top speed of 75-80 behind a semi going down hill I get frustrated. Grrr...

Oh well, Your truck just keeps getting better man. Can't wait to see the notch work and all.

well its far from stock. it didnt have any balls when i got it. lol. it didnt even have a working carb. ive put a weber, ported a non-egr intake, fresh head with bigger valves, new distrubutor, plugs, wires, coil, big header, short 2-1/2" exhaust, 4.10 rear end, modded weber choke removal (cut the horn all the way off), yada yada. i grew up with motors. so for having a stock cam and bottom end, it pulls real nicely.
