Thinking I might have a problem with the cluster after the temp gauge stopped working. Replaced the sending unit under the hood but noticed the light for the parking brake has stopped working as well.

Just to check it off, is there any way it could have gotten shorted out? Don't see any blown fuses, or is there anything else to check that might have taken out that side of the cluster?

A bad fuse may look good, test the continuity with an Ohmmeter. That or double check connections with any electrical doodads. Dont know much about electricals so someone else with the knowledge should fill in what i left out.

This is for the earlier 2nd gen trucks but it should be fairly close or give you an idea how to follow the circuit board
