Other then the S/C, are there any other engine mods done to the 5v?

 

light head work , better flowing exhaust , . not trying for max h/p . just a wheelie now and then

 

Nice. Mine just sits where it landed without driveshaft shortened, which necessitates a pusher fan on the front of the radiator. It also makes the exhaust manifold flange interfere with the steering gear, which along with the idler arm has been remounted an inch lower to let the drag link clear. Even so, I had to shave a corner off the manifold flange to keep it from vibrating against the steering gear filler cap.
I’m curious how you navigated the exhaust through there.

Hahaha just a wheelie.. haha nice. Keep up the good work. This thing is coming along great. This is a great example for those trying to hot rod a truck legally hear in Cali.

 

moved the steering box out 1/2 inch ,,, spent hours on the crossover pipe to clear everything ..
