Saw the Internetional Car Show 2021 is up and going. Got the hilux entered the Factree, Tuner Taste, and Revive N Drive categories. Worth going and checking out because I did a short walk around video that I open up the exhaust and let her sing some at the end.

Got a few things to install this week. A light broke in shipping.

 

The horn was delivered last week but ran short on hose. Got it hooked up for a test off a 12v milwaukee battery. It's awesome.

That's awesome. Can you adjust the "speed" of the horns at all to speed it up slightly, or is that the final?

You are correct. I did notice the speed was off a little. Might just be the tool battery making it slow.

 

It could also be the length of my air hoses. Not sure.

When it's running I'll be having nearly another 2 volts. That will probably get it to the right speed.

Everytime I drive it I feel I need some 70's gear. Been trying to score a retro toyota jacket. Missed my opportunity on a couple appropriate ones.

 

Got the relay for the horn all wired in. The first time I hit it the kids next door having a birthday party think it's the ice cream man. It was hilarious listening to them questioning it.

 

Got the rev limiter installed and working. Have it set at 5300rpm. I'm so glad it's not the kind that just hangs up. Sounds pretty cool.

Yeah she has nice throttle response. It can stick you to the seat a little.
