Just years of people leaning on it. As long as you got it fixed, you're good.

Got any more pics of it as its coming along? We love the classics.

Looks nice! I like the way it shined up. I'll be taking a buffer to mine soon.

I have several saved searches for parts on Ebay, and over time have built quite an inventory. I check it everyday. A great deal of it comes from outside the US. I have never seen the front fender turn signals listed, but I see fender mirrors all the time. Might be something to fill the holes until you find what you want.

I just finished a major overhaul to the front of mine and have the wheels back on. Once I get the new brakes and lowering blocks on I'll be posting an update and new pics.

BTW - did your truck come from Washington? I saw a similar truck on Craigslist.

Right now it is not on the road because the brakes are just dangerous....I have almost all the parts that I need for the front disk brake swap.

I bought the Truck on E-bay a while back. It lived its life in Prescott AZ. I bought it from the daughter and husband of the original owner!

I will definitely post up pictures as they happen.

BTW.....I'm pretty sure I saw a picture of "JDM????" turn signals that were in the strip above the lights? can anyone confirm this? Or was this "custom"

I do know the 2nd gen marker/blinker light had a USDM & JDM lens and housing. Us was all orange with a 2 way bulb. JDM was a orange/white combo lens with a 1 way bulb in each side. I know because I swapped to them.

You may be into something with them lights.

If you wanna fill the holes, they make little pop in plugs for stuff like that. Some are chrome plastic. Has little fingers that grabs the hole. I used one for a faucet to fill my fender antenna hole when I swapped to an a pillar antenna.

I kinda dig the chevron side mirrors so I'd probably just plug the holes.

here are the front lights that I found...what do you think JDM?

Time to resurrect this thread...I need a functional and reliable truck and I pulled the trigger on a swap. I got a good deal on a JDM SR20DE so why not..... The brakes have been an issue for a while so I will start with the brakes and pull the old motor.

Lots and lots of fab needed..The main problem I the cross member is directly under the SR's Oil pan....

Not being a nissan guy, I have no clue if other sumps are available...but being a toyota guy... I know with ALOT of our engines that get swapped, different sumps got offered throughout the world (different cars in different markets) and you can normally find one that fits/works.

Alot easier than tackling moving a cross member/steering.

    Good luck. Should be sweet.

It would be a bigger pain to track down the right pan and oil pick-up than it would to just fab a different cross-member. Part of doing this particular swap is to show future clients what I am capable of.
