You mean the rough shape mine is in?:D It did spend most of its life in new england. Would like to see some pics of yours, that'd be great.
Here are a couple pics of my 1 ton parts truck with only 100k,the bed was even worse. But it was a cheap way to pick up a w56 5spd and 8 in rear. The EFI motor was a bonus.

I've got the rear almost done.Redrilled the perch 1.25 back and 1.5 up.,then moved the shackle perch back 1.375 and shaved em .375 up.

shaved the 93 frame mounts and added the 65 stout mounts (cab/bed)
    notched the frame
    [IMG]
droped the bed on to check the stance. Right now its 7 in rear with 29 in tires and nothing in the front only 24 inch in the front.

Ya man i'd love to see it!I want to see how you got that stroker V8 in there.
I need to fix my roof it pops up and down like a beer can.I'm thinking of cutting in a ragtop. But a friend that does body work is going to take a look at it first.

The seats i'm using are mid 70s dodge van recovered with vealor,I cut down the bases but will have to cut one more time to give em less recline as they have fixed backs. You can see the cut layout on one of em.These were freebes from a abandoned junk yard near my house.

I also took apart my speedo and cleaned it.I'm having a new cable made to connect this speedo and the w56 5spd i'm using.

That is amazing that the Stouts have one, but we don't. Then again, the Stout was probably considered a higher end truck than our early 70's RN20's.

Anyhow, totally blown away by this thread. Inspiring.

Cool dude hope you get one. Id like one but I dont at the same time, this one is nickle and diming me just trying to get it road worthy. I dont even think I could find a stout. Id like to get a mazda b2000, my aunt had one for many years, lots of memorys in a mazda. Love how they look when slammed.

But back on topic, I hope to see more of this truck......... any idea of the weight of this truck?

love what you're doing with the truck mate, i'm having problems with the pics for some reason but i've got something quite similar going on. 90's hilux chassis front half, although mine's bagged and custom back half.

i'm running a w56 too, got one out of an estima van and trying to get the column shift working. i'd be interested in hearing exactly what you do to modify the speedo cable, i haven't got to that point yet but it could save me the time of working out what to do.

gone 3sge in mine, should pull it along nicely.

    cheers
    Matt
