sorry about the pics. i havent lowered my truck yet. i thought i could just pull the front fenders out enough to clear my tires, but after inspection, i think the fenders will have to come out at least 4". im trying to get to the junkyard so i can pick up some 4wd fenders. its been raining though. i will post pics aas soon as the rain stops

went to two junkyards today. the only 4wd fenders i found were on an 80 pickup. found a 92 4runner with a clean front bumper, but the truck was tilted on to it. i ended up getting some tires. $114 for a matched set. now i can pull off the "slicks" i have on

put my tires on today. 195/60 in the rear and 185/60 in the front. i swapped steering wheels from my step dad's 79 too. does anyone know if the gauge cluster on like an 86 celica is the same as a pickup?

ok, so with my income taxes im gonna buy some 4wd fenders, even if i have to order brand new ones. i also want to get tires for my 17's, new headlights (possibly HID), and get the red and clear taillights. might get a new bumper to replace my beat up one too. i want the one that wraps all the way around, no plastic corners

here are pics of my choices:

not sure if those headlights are good quality or not. hopefully they will have the "beam cut off" that creates a sharp line. either way, i cant wait to see this!

+1 on the last two posts!! don't buy those headlights, they are not real projectors, if you want real projectors do a retro fit..otherwise buy the Hellas or regular diamond cut(even those are crappy, but better than those fake projectors)

i think he meant diamond cut as in the euro looking chrome housings without a projector. those dont work good. especially with a black backer. some of the cheapie housings do suck. but better than an off the shelf sealed replacement. id say get ones with the small "city light" port and put an led bulb in. for night parking eyes. lol. i had purple in my old 92.

id leave them on all night every night. had them on a seperate switch.

that looks awesome. i really like the black though. how are the HIDs in the black casing? if that doesnt work, there are a couple other styles that i can use
