would you mind releasing info on where you got everything for the steering setup? more pics too? I want to run a quick release set up in my 69 Hilux with a Nardi wheel, but not sure what/where to buy the hub adapter if there is one or would i need to change the whole column like you stated??? thanks again

    thanks guys.

we are doing the wiring right now and minor details right now. so pics and progress seems to be kinda slow. really looking forward to hearing this motor start. i will try to take some snaps this sunday. on monday i will be out at the sema show all week so no working on the truck next week.

the reason we went with a after market steering column is i need to adjust the height of the steering wheel. i put bucket seats in the truck they are bolted directly to the floor of the cab. so the stock steering wheel was much too high. we made our own hub adapter from billet. on a side note my buddy put a grant steering wheel into his 1971 so i would think there is a way to put your nardi into your truck. or do you know if the bolt pattern on your nardi is the same as a momo? if so i could ask adf if they have the program to make another billet adapter.

holy **** So much craftsmanship. Not only did you swap in one of the best performance Toyota offers and leave it at that, you freakin pumped the steering system full of steroids to. I tip my Stetson to you sir.

    I think I just came a little....

....then a whole bunch more :D Amazing build quality. Love all the racecar tech you are putting into an old truck. And I like that you didn't bag it. I love low static drops more than bags I think. I will be watching this build for sure.

And sidenote, up to 78 toyota had the same steering wheel fitment on cars and trucks. Grant makes a 3 bolt adapter, I think the momo adapter is a 5 bolt. You would have to make a subadapter ring to go from 3 bolt to anything else. I plan that to run an old 6 bolt Dino and a 9 bolt FormulaFrance wheel. Hope that helps.

thanks guys! met a few toyotamini guys at the show. cool peeps!

it's a stock bumper that's been welded together and filled the tow hook opening.

with that motor i decided on no bags. we actually raised the front about 3/4" right now we ran into some problems with the stock steering box. we are in the process of switching to rack and pinion steering and a few new things. lol

sorry. i don't have the stock steering column anymore. so i couldn't refer back to my stock steering.
