Sometimes I was just driving it out the hole but other times i was at 3k trying to launch. I could not get a good 60ft at all. best I did was 2.5.

From all the research I did in the past to do a single turbo JZ motor it will cost you at least 10k to do it right. And that is if your paying someone to do the swap for you. It will be less if you do it yourself. Also look at going with an auto first cuz they are much cheaper to buy then the manual trans. It will get you started is the biggest thing. Rajzswap blew up 3 of them b4 he went to the manual lol.

well it's 2011, everything works better :) single turbo setups are more efficient!

and yes, 2jz's are tough as hell to find. 2JZ auto, and then go manual ASAP!

Yeah but the MK3 supras here never got a JZ motor they got the 7m. Its a good motor but i like the JZs better. In japan the MK3 supras had the 1jz and not the 7m

Yeah ive got 15k in that truck before selling it to Matt.

A 1jz swap with R154 with stock everything is about 6k if you do it yourself. 1jz are way more common, come with the 5 speed transmission, so that saves a ton of money, and have the rear sump as well.

    Color Ideas....?

Ok guys. So it looks like tonight I will be ordering the injectors, fuel rail and braided fuel lines. Once this is done I am thinking it will be time to save up for a paint job. Now Rodney and I have been thinking about a gunmetal grey. Something like the zr1 Corvette. I also like this orange on this old supra. I want to keep the same color on the rims. So please post some pics of what you all think will look good. If someone got Photoshop and wants to do some renderings that would be awesome to!

hey Matt, snap a pretty good picture of the truck from a 1/4 angle, and other angles if you'd like. I'll be more than glad to get on Photoshop later on tonight!
