Not looking for rear brakes. Looking for front ones. Rear would be pointless 80% of your stopping comes from the front.
So got the U-Bold fixed and the rear shocks back on and got to drive it again. Did not realize how much I missed it! still shaking from the adrenaline!
^ It's an awesome feeling to drive a Toyota pickup again! well, for you, you have 300+ more ponies than us lol I remember that feeling when i didn't get to drive my truck for 2 weeks.

So made the trip all the way up from monterey to my home town in Oregon. 12 hours of no fun. I had one mishap on the way up. Sucked up some crap from the bottom of the fuel tank and got stuck in the fuel pump and could not get it to start. Had to disconnect the fuel lines to the pump & from the pump. Had no problems other then that.
July 1st looks like i will head to the drag strip in woodburn OR. 3pm would be cool to see some other mini guys.
Hey man! This truck is in good hands for sure. Love working on it and seeing it progress. So your home and will be taking it to the drags? on less than stock psi? hmm. I wonder if the traction bars and better shocks will help much with just street tires. The strip is always slicker then the street so I dont think you will get anything faster then the 14's. you will spin like crazy. I did it once and got a 13.8 @ 106. 2.3 60ft didnt get traction till 4th. this was with 12 psi, couldnt shift passed 5500rpm due to running out of fuel and leaky bov YouTube - Rodney's truck and the track first passes‏ But at least you will know what you have to start with. Then when you get back we can get the fuel system in, re-tune, get those slicks on there and see 12's or better
Ran the truck at the woodburn drag strip today. Pretty hot out but got my best time of a 14.2 at 103.92mph. Not too bad for the first time at the strip. Only lost to one car as well. Really got to work on my launch tho and slicks will help a lot. Going to upload some videos onto Youtube, will post the link for you all once they are up.
Thanks man should have them up on youtube today. I also got some new tires on the truck today. Still need to get a alignment tho.
