And as far as bugs.... It was first an issue with bad coil packs and fouled sparkplugs, then noticed that the wires that went the the TPS sensor connector was not connected, and now its looking like the coolant temp sensor connector is cracked and shorting out causing the truck to die when its warm.

I saw on supraforums your planning on running a map ecu3 here pretty quick. Did you have any type of piggy back before. I'm goin to be runnin basically what you had before (t67 single, stock 440 injectors) and I was wondering if I'm goin to need a piggy back or anything cause I'm pretty close to gettin my truck runnin.

Yes I am currently running a MapECU1. Pickup a MapECU2 a used one and you will be in very good shape.

well do you think my truck would even run without a piggy back? if i keep the boost down at stock levels it should run shouldnt it. ill prolly get a map ecu3 but im also goin to need to buy a patch harness (cause i really dont want to cut into my brand new harness), and dont really wont to lay down that kind of money at the moment.

Yeah just run stock boost and you should be fine other then you will need a MAF/MAP sensor make sure you have that in and you should be just fine running stock boost. You can get a BCC as well if you really want to up the boost but then you have to worry about the stock ECU leaning it out and making your motor go BOOM BOOM. So hope that helps feel free to ask questions man!

well i got an hks fcd at the house and i ordered a patch harness today but reading about map ecu3 it takes care of the fcd and the scd, so i shoulda saved that money and used it for the ecu3. I thought about getting a apexi neo and a scd and running that with my fcd, but adding it up it would prolly just be easier and cheaper just to buy the map ecu. less **** to wire in and make room for. are you running a wide band o2 if so what kind do you have.

I do have a wide band O2 its a AEM setup. I sadly have to send my harness in to have it checked out. I have an issue I can not figure out and it is driving me insane!

The speedo reads off the transmission sensor I thought...... IDK if you have to swap out the sensor for a USDM one of what there. I will find that out for you tho from Rodney as well.

Alright been a little while! But after trying everything we still can not track down this stupid electrical issue. I have decided to have the engine harness gone through as it still has all the Auto trans wiring. Hopefully it is something in the harness that is causing the issue.

There is so many wires that it could be just having it redone. The TPS connector wires got messed up and there are many sensors that were eliminated when it went single turbo that it could be anything. Also does not help having all the auto trans wires still in there.

Why yes Rodney I do have an update!!!! I already told you what it was earlier today.

Anyways everyone just heard from the harness guys that it will be finished it 2-3 weeks. So it is just a waiting game now. Luckily the price to get it fixed was not too bad.
