So,Ive been looking up info on how to create your own turbo. Most articles say a low compression engine is best for adding a turbo. I cannot find any info at all about adding a turbo to a 20R engine. Am I missing something? It's a relatively low compression engine which should make it perfect for adding a turbo. Please enlighten me. Is it just not a good idea or is it just not commonly done?

 

why do you want to add a turbo? I assume it's to gain power, in which case it almost always easier/cheaper to just replace the 20R with a 22R or 22RE.
