Right now I'm thinking I'm going to plate it, which reminds me, do you remember how big you made your notch ?? I've done the measurement thing and I come up with a 3" notch. I'm not sure but that seems small. Looking at all the photos here they all look bigger. I do want to keep it as small as possible.I know I measured this thing at least 10 times now

    Thanks

Mine is an 8" I beleive. I'd have to measure it again to be sure but this is a basic measurment for what your doing.
Your measurment should be from the bottom of the frame to the bottom of the notch.

Ohhh ok. When I said I had a 3" notch, I was measuring from the Top of the frame to the bottom of the notch. Measuring from the bottom to bottom I've got 7". Cool. Thanks, again.

Alittle more done with this snow day today and an early day off yesterday due to snow:

Not all the body work is done buts close enough for government work. :p couple of really small areas I couldn't see or feel until I got it in primer but I'll get to them when the "real" primer gets laid down. I went through a quart of bondo and probably sanded 3/4 of that back off. maybe a total of 16 hours to get it back inline. Not bad as my body work skills are rusty. Lol on to the photographs:

Decided to assemble her yesterday and take her to a meet. Got to see what else needs to be clearanced and see how she drove.

My reference spot, photos of all progress get taken here. I have the lower cross bar on it still so the front isn't laid out all the way.

And you wouldn't be doing things right if within the first 5 min of driving her this didn't happen

Pulled me over for no tag light. I think he just wanted to check it out. I had no hood on it and I don't have an E brake so I had to lay it on the ground to keep it from rolling away. He said " dang it sure is low don't you think" I told him its sitting on the frame right now if it wasn't it would roll away haha. He said oh that's cool, so you have a Modelo can in the engine bay? Mind you I don't have a good on at this point, I told him its my overflow reservoir. He said dang A for enginuity haha I got off with a "thank for being nice and drive safe" :waytogo:

Thought this wa pretty cool, my wife has that time hop app, the top picture was taken 2-28-14 the bottom was taken 2-28-15 exactly 1 year apart. She sure has changed in a short year.

Haven't updated in a little bit so I'll throw up some photos. Basically done at this point for the show season. I have met and acceded my goals for the season. Doesn't mean I won't do other small things but I will be buying my stuff for next seasons big changes.

Checking clearances for wheels. Tire setup on it now is a equivalent to a 215/45/20, put a 2x4 under the wheels and laid her down, yup still lays out.
