My iphone went berserk and wont come out of recovery mode...Ive already re-installed them, now they are buried in there and they are black so wont see any detail. Its pretty easy, straightforward.

Well folks. It's update time. No pics for some reason I din take any this wknd. But I got the firewall tubbed, door handles, wiper motor and a/c line holes all shaved. I have extended the harness for the fuel pump and have started the pedal bracket for relocating the clutch master. Had a guy lie to me after I paid him for a 4 link to be shipped out 2 weeks ago. Now it's "going out tomorrow" so next wind should see the 4 link go in and then I will start prepping the body for primer, doing bodywork and all.. Waiting on taxes to order my air kit. Already have bag brackets, cross drilled slotted rotors just waiting to be installed!

 

Hi guys!

No, Im not dead...been busy! You know how it is when you get in a groove, you just put your head down and go, dont do much else. Well, I had drama with the guy who built my 4 link, finally got that and its installed now! Bag brackets are here, I bought a shaved door kit from joeynational on here, installed those poppers today. I also shaved the antenna hole, hood squirters, gas door, rock guards and door handles. I have filled those holes and have sanded the whole truck, inside and out with 150 in prep for primer. I ordered the compressors, bags, a new core support, the switch box and air line today. Its moving along! Anyway, on with pics!

Front end back together, new ball joints, drilled and slotted rotors, and new brake pads!

And thats where we are! Sprayin primer next wknd and hope to have interior back in. Not bad for only having the truck since Mid-November!

Back with an update.

Rims and tires go on this weekend. Body will be in primer this weekend.
I have installed the bags, painted all the rear suspension, did a final adjustment on the rear end.
Did all bodywork, shaving, and prepping for paint. I will attach a video of the rear working, this is nowhere near the full psi load, it was just to check articulation of the 4 link and to make sure that nothing was gonna hit or bind.

Front bags...truck isnt level so upper plate looks kicked up a little...(its not)


Rear, all final assembled and painted/cleared.

Not bad I dont guess for my first bagged truck build. Im all the time measuring, whipping my phone out and comparing my pics to Jason (UC93)'s truck....I think I bout got'er whooped.

Ordering fittings, valves, carpet, new grille, bumper, and valance Friday..(work bonus, gotta love CAT)...

 

looking really nice.

i have my bags on bar in just about the same spot and it rides amazing.

 

How much travel did u get up front??

 

Haven't tried it yet. I sold the tires. Laid it out flat and used 1 195 75r14 to install the bags up front one side at a time. Making sure height and plate angle were the same..the tire I used is right on with the 225 40r18 I'm gonna run...

What show was it you were trying to get the build done for? And when is it again?

 

Well initially it was the Friday night drag season in May at Atlanta motor speedway. But now it will be going to Layd out at the park in Tennessee April 14th. Not painted, interior not done...but suspension and body work wise...ready.
