You will have to change to the 4wd bumper to look factory. The 4wd bumper is a bit wider to protect the flare on the 4wd fender. I did the same thing and bought the 2wd bumper by mistake. But I have a 4wd unit coming so that after I paint I can swap it out. Personally I think that the flared fenders flow better with the body lines of the truck.

Have you called any of the wheel manufacturers about your wheels? you probably won't just find a set on a website somewhere, nut you know someone makes wheels for them because the truck pics from japan had them. Also email minitruckin.

yeah, I being looking around and calling to see if I can get some rims for my ride. I have sent an email to minitruckin, but no answer. the truck pictures from japan, 1 have the ford dually rims, and the other one has unknown brand. they are 8 lug rims.

check out this thread. u can see the pictures of the pickups w/ 8 lug.

I painted some of the chassis to see how it would look.

I have one small problem. this past weekend, I measuring the long bed the I got from the salvage yard, it won't fit, chassis to long. that chassis that I have, I can easy put on ex. cab w/ the long bed. I want to keep it reg. cab, but I don't want to cut the chassis. I not a fanatic of cutting chassis. I need a little help.

That dually truck looks sweet, I had a thought why dont you look into the fiberglass bedside's they use in off-road racing I saw a set with a 3inch flareand 4.5 rise in the fender looked pretty sweet. Check out glassworks unlimited thats where I saw them

Cutting the chassis is not a big deal. There are a few tricks to maintaining it's strength and still making it look good. I think that it may be your best bet when it comes to the options that you have. Even if you went with an extended cab and long bed, would it fit the frame?

some has ask me the same question this week. I have thought about it. I would have to go back to the salvage yard and get an extra bed to extend the bed.

I think that a stretched bed would look just that - stretched. I don't think you could ever make it look like it was supposed to be that way. I would consider either an extended cab, or cutting and shortening the frame.

I mean, for me, any mod I do to a vehicle should look like it was meant to be that way from the designer. When someone walks up to any of my cars, I love it when they say "Dude, that's an amazing ride. It looks great, -what exactly did you do to it?"

First, been lurking around and found this site because I was searching the web for toyota dually's. I finally registered when I had something to contribute- the link below is for the dually fenders and the exact wheels you were looking for. I don't think you would be able to afford the wheel kit ($7,500 not incl shipping:eek: ), but the 1600 for the fenders aren't bad IMHO. here you go:

    http://www.mooneyes.co.jp/truckin.html

Oohh, forgot- scroll to the bottom, and I believe the wheel kit is also for the conversion for the wheels to mount......

thanks, but I can't afford that. I must get some in the usa and custom fit it somehow. maybe from a chevy dually fenders for example.

I think a full size dually fender might be too big. I would look at maybe cutting up a bed from a stepside truck from a s-10 or the like. even seen a toyota on ebay with step sides recently. Just a thought.

On another note, I'm thinking about going your route- hacking up a toy dually cube/box truck to use the chasis. Engine isn't important as the fact I want a Ext cab dually. Uhaul seems to be offloading their toyota cube/box trucks in a hurry, so I may be starting with one of them. Then I will just have to find a good condition extended cab to put on it. well see though.

Might I ask a favor? what is the wheel base-measured from center front wheel to center back wheel? and then the measurement from cab to center of rear wheel? thanks, just trying to see if their is a difference between your truck and ones I'm looking at.
    Thanks in advance.

I guess the same company does wheel adapters, so for those of you who would like to pimp the dual wheels with less cash could buy the adapters and the fender kit for that trick look. best part you could keep your custom wheels;)
