My 89 base model has the rubber gasket from the factory. If Toyota can look up a part number by VIN I'll gladly post mine since I know it seems to be an illusive piece to find.

Really you guys all like the rubber gasket? I like the look of the stainless better. I can check with my dealer and get a part number if it's available. My truck came with it but I'm looking into swapping it for stainless in the future.

I'd much rather go the cheaper route since I don't have the clips for the 8 piece stainless. I priced it once and it was 150+ for everything.

Windshields back in. It was some kind of generic gasket they had they put on. Looks good though.

I'll see get closer pics XS. This is actually a custom mix of 5 different greys and a ton of flake. It honestly looks like a factory lexus color or the grey on the sienna.

I guess they urethaned the windshield and put an outer rubber gasket only. Or am I wrong? That's the standard issue when old trim is not available or affordable. My windshield guy does that all the time.

That's what they done. Now I'm in a pickle with the molding that goes along the wiper cowl. Any one have suggestions? I'm gonna talk to them about it and see if they can get me a piece of molding that would line up.

I dont think I like that at all. I foresee that peeling up and eventually coming apart....

Use what I got lol. Header prob get powder coated anyways but I needed more polished items under the hood. I'm thinking about the Efi manifold when I get the truck back.
