So i have no idea why this is so difficult to find so if anyone has a part number for this and can help me, it would be much appreciated.

I cant find a center link that matches my original. My factory center link for my RN28 has 4 holes and thats it. No ball joints, not damper hole, just 4 holes and appears to be symmetrical on both sides. I can't even find a picture of an original one for some reason.

 

Rockauto has an image but no stock. Every site i checked seems to be out. Try looking for a part out somewhere or the mini truck dismantler in so cal

The one rock auto shows for a 78 is not correct. I ordered it and had to return it. This has been at least a year ago and they still have it listed the same. It's probably for 79+. I have a spare center link if you are still looking for one.

I really appreciate it. I have been looking for awhile with little results. Most don’t want to part out trucks they are trying to sell and being in the north east, these trucks are rare.

 

O don't we know it!!! Drove 9hrs for the 76! Only jersey for mine but we $, but she's got no rust,rot,rips,or tears frame n all !! I swear I practically refuse to go anywhere unless it's dire in the winter with all the crap they put on the roads

 

He just put a new trans in one had to have it shipped from CA !!!!!

 

O, also I think there is a guy up in harwinton with a yard full o stuff we got a plow off a 87 last yr I'll see if I still have his contact info!

 

I actually just put a 1997 Tacoma engine and W55 trans in my '78 so i have the 20r and L43 trans available if you are interested in them. Maybe we can work something out if you have some of the steering parts im looking for!

 

That sounds like an incredible swap. Sorry but I don't have any steer parts to help
