:D Actually its a catalog I have had since 76, I was originally gonna buy a new one back then but ended up buying a new Chevy 4x4 instead, at the time I had one of the mini truck 4x4 conversions but sold it and went with the Chevy, have since come to my senses
No Stout stuff in my stash.

You guys have any suggestions on identifying my trans? It's just a stock trans with a wolverine adapter but I can't find a model number anywhere. It's a 4sdp so there can't be too many options, I just don't know the parts well enough to ID them. Any help is mucho bueno.

Open the hood and look on the drivers side fenderwell near the coil/voltage regualtor area, there should be a metal tag with code numbers, down 4 or 5 lines it'll have trans/axle, yours should be a L43 trans, 4spd, cast iron case, aluminum side cover, aluminum tailhousing, in your case it'll be the aluminum adapter housing instead of the stock tailhousing. :waytogo:

Yor right again Nook, kudos. L43. Thats awesome because I know of a 79 in my area with a good L43. I didn't know they put the L43 in the 77's but I've been wrong before. I will get a bunch of good pics of the undercarriage and body tomorrow. I get lots of critisicms for painting it because it had the toyota racing stripes which was original from the dealer. Terribly outdated if you ask me.
