If you can figure out how to do front disc brakes and a ADR 10 approved steering column then you can put whatever engine you can shoehorn in, but until then it can not be re registered with out them, which more than likely this one which I guess has been defected because of such as south Australian registered vehicles in Mildura Victoria often do 1974 Toyota Stout | Cars, Vans & Utes | Gumtree Australia Mildura City - Mildura Centre | 1048694355 .
all vehicles under 4.5t now requires front disc brakes and a collapsing steering column to be modified and a vehicle modified prior to the national code of practice ncop if it dose not have all the engineering approval paperwork for such as an engine modification even if the vehicle is currently registered with such engine in it it can not be registered again until it meets the new requirements and if not it ends up like so many dyna trucks and coaster buses that have been converted to motor home with holden six cylinder engines and are now only good for scrap metal. It is sad our government has taken such an approach nationally and even if you do have a modified vehicle fully approved it is only provincial and is still deemed illegally modified interstate as part of the anti hoon bs, in short our government dose not want old modified vehicles on the roads and that is what the automotive enthusiasts party was hopefully ment to be about and not a comedy act like it has become

    No..
Stout lite and Stout have diffrent chassis the lite tub will be too short.

I have a lite stout rk43 and had to cut down a Stout Rk101 to fit.

Stout lite tubs are rare in aust.

Anyone know if you can get a converter
    Or something similar
    (syncro for stout gears)
    Tired of crunching first
