Make sure the wheel dosnt have any major flex to it. I'm not 100% sure how the horn works but I think it might be a contain ring on the base of the stock wheel / hub. You might need to extend the post make contact. Or another way is to do it is race style with coiled wired like a corded telephone. Might be harder with the nrg hub to run an external cord cleanly though.

The short hub and a 14" put the wheel in a good spot and make it easier to turn TBH, looking forward to seeing where the QR set it after all

Definitely sits closer but it feels comfortable and just as easy to steer with as the original wheel. Also 3D printed a replacement steering wheel stalk plastic.

I’m not 100% sure. I just came across it googling around but there was no context for the image. I thought it was just the katana from the TEQ slightly chopped up and rearranged but I could totally be off.

Ah that makes more sense. I’ll whip up some TEQ ones. Might make the next set a little larger.

Finally figured out vent shields. AVS 12031 I had to bend a cut them to fit but I think it works out. Not sure whether I’m going to drill or maybe try to glue them in place. Probably glue. Still playing with the shape but they will work!

OK question about cooling. I completely flushed my cooling system, replaced my thermostat and temp sender and my engine still runs below temp like just barely over the first line. I grounded the temp sender and the needle moves so the gauge appears to be working. I think the clutch fan is just bolted in place though so the fan is always running. I don't have any overheating issues but the motor does "diesel" a bit when turned off (a lot less since I did the coolant flush). So should I try to return the fan to stock, replace with an electric fan or just leave it alone?

When you got the thermostat, did it have a lower opening temp? Some do for off-road applications, seen this with those that have the bypass hole. Also, if your fan is directly bolted to the engine, you might be pulling too much air through the radiator and is keeping temps down. One last thing, if you got a cheaper sensor, it's worth your time to test these and make sure they read within spec. The ground wire should be tight.

Opening temp on both the new and old thermostat is 82c. I’ll mess around with sensor but both the old and new temp sensor are acting the same. I do wonder if it’s just too much air.

I’ll probably remove the fan and see what the temp does. Am I better off going with a clutch fan or rigging up an electric one?
