Getting the frame ready for paint. Engine and trans are done.
Engine stand X2 for frame rotisserie
Looking good! :wwaytogo:
You could've used your 22r block, would've had to have the head machined for it though..
I seen that after I sold it. Would everything else bolt up normal to the newer style block? Motor mounts and stuff?
Got the frame and components painted and reassembled. Time for brake lines, fuel lines, air lines, exhaust, and wiring. Check in about a month from now.
Nice! keep up the good work! Post more pics! This things gonna be so clean!
When I swapped my motor all I had to use was the 20r motor mounts, oil pressure sensor and temp sensor.. everything else is pretty much the same.. I don't know fab out egr/smog stuff because I don't need it, I just use the necessary stuff
Been a while but making progress. Air ride is done. Chassis and driveline is pretty much done.
Got the box fitted. Going to do some more welding, seam sealing and touch up paint the inside. Planning on painting the underside of the box and installing it for the last time and then cab time.
And more pics
Little prep and paint this weekend
Lots of love for this build. What are the plans for the exterior body? Leaving it? Big fan of the vintage graphics!
Yep leaving the original paint. Just touch ups and buff
LED third light. Gotta have something at eye level for the inattentive drivers behind me
bottom today, engine compartment tomorrow
Engine compartment freshened up
Few things done. Updated dist., used scion seats, sound proofing and carpet
Forgot the cab install
I just came across this build. Looks great man! I really like the rear set up. I hope once I finish my current project I can get my Toyota on the ground. I like how the bed floor is done too. That's a good idea.
