Im gonna drive it around a little while after its bagged, do some body work and then body drop it over the winter sometime.. maybe also do the motor, depending on if it lasts or not. i want to keep it if i can, but not too sure how long itll last.. I need to paint the rims, im not diggin the red.. and then paint the truck as well.. need to get some interior pieces, and then i will probably make some door panels.. not much else tho

    awesome.

thats pretty much what i thought would need to happen. talking about the hacking for the front (not that i think the work is "hacked" but its what had to happen) to get the x mem on the ground.

the way the xmem is welded into the frame really sucks on the stout. clearancing the spring buckets for bags means hacking into the frame.

do you got any deflated pics? all naked n stuff :D

Should be able to see all the pics, ill try to find some more.. for the front, if u wanna lay frame rails, it has to be Z'd, we are doin a body drop in the winter so it dont matter anyway.. that crossmember is stupid big! might even be worth swapping the front end out just to make life easier.. too late for me tho

Is it just 2linked? I think that's why the bag is Rollin over like that.

Its been hard enough to get it bagged in the first place, so im gonna wait until its done and just put some bellow bags in it.. I agree, i dont like it, but i have been assured 100x's that its gonna be ok, but i still think i am goin to change it..

lookin good. even a convulated bag on axle will sit crooked on a 2link. maybe not as much as the sleeve bag but some. a lot of fullsize trucks run a 2link, but they are setup leveraged since the arm is outside of the frame rail.

I gots no truck, for now
the bag in the last pic wont last long...its rubbing the control arm badly... its not supposed to do that even when laid out..

you can see the rub marks in the second picture...and the 1st and 2nd pic the frame looks like it needs to be trimmed farther away from the bag...thats really close.

not dissing the install, just trying to keep ya from getting stranded..

edit: and in the 4th pic, has the guy adjusted your pinion angle yet? you might get a real bad vibration looking at that pinion, or even blow the ujoint or pinion bearing depending on how low you drive it....

    another edit:
i would gusset the top of the spring support where the bag mounts...that tiny piece of frame is going to be taking all the weight of the truck...and it looks like there is only a small section supporting the spring pearch...

again not trying to be critical, just trying to help...

Naww man i appreciate it, im not doin the work a friend is, so i am all for all you guys opinions!.. the frame on the front looks alot closer then it is because the wheels were still on when i took the pics.. they got lots of room.. hes cleaned it all up since those pics too, i just havent gotten new pics of it yet... the pinion angle has been adjusted a lil too, when it comes up to where i wanna ride its damn near perfect..

and you lost me on the last comment, sorry, but i have NO clue what u even mean.. i cant seem to figure out what your talkin about, so if you can dumb it down a lil that would be cool (seriously) im not bein a smart ass promise!
