Thanks for the help on the lowering, I'm going to look for some of those blocks soon!

Finally got a chance to install my ebay hid conversion kit today. I'm very happy with the outcome!

I went with the 6000k hi/low hid kit. I chose this one because I wanted a bright white light opposed to the blue 8000k kit. That blue hue actually decreases visibility while driving at night.

The hi beam works great! For some reason I always thought the high beam on these type of kits didn't light up as HID light and as a regular halogen, but I was wrong. Both low and hi beam light the road up very nicely

Love the 4runner map lights. How did you wire in w/the factory dome light?

    It wasn't too hard.

I just fished the wires through the roof with a wire hanger with 2 wires taped to the end of it. Then I spliced into the dome light wires. One wire has power that goes to it when the door is opened, and the other wire has constant power.

I made sure to cut the clip off the 4runner map light when I pulled it at the junkyard. Also took the hardware making it pretty straight forward

Absolutely love those LED tails. Looks like you're putting some nice quality parts on it already. Keep that up!

I'm sure some of you might be wondering what kind of scooter I'm hauling with this pickup. No I'm not handicap, or it's not one of those type of scooters you roll around in Walmart. Here's a pic of me riding my scooter

Truck is coming along great. Sweet scooter too. I always had a weird interest in scooters. Almost bought one of those huge long ones that look like a snowmobile a while back for a good deal.

As for the blocks, make sure the axle pad doesn't try to fall inside the lowering block and crack the sides. Might need a flat plate above the block to prevent that. I broke a few sets that way.

Thanks! I think you're talking about a Honda Helix. I too have a weird interest in scooters...

On another note, the 225/60 series tires were too big in my wheel well, so I opted to go with a 205/55 series instead. They were rubbing like crazy without a load, so I figured it would tough trying to haul my scoot around. Now it feels much better...

I always run a 50 series on 16s to prevent rubbing. Makes a nice visual too. Just the right amount of sidewall. 195 through 225 50s fit nicely when ya get really low.

I dunno what kinda scooter it was. Didn't see any stickers. A friend has it in her garage. It was a passing interest lol.

I was thinking 50 series, but didn't want there to be much wheel gap. I don't plan on lowering more any time soon. Maybe next set of tires ill do 50 series and go lower.

Thanks brother! They're called Honda Ruckus. I'm pretty sure the guys you've seen are buddies of mine. Hopefully I can meet some of the other Toy owners in the area sometime soon, maybe the next meet...
