you want to get them directly under the latch..I have mine there mounted to the inside of the door jam..make sure you can roll down your windows...

could also be your timing chain guides..if you havnt already replaced your timing set with new metal guides you might want to check it out..as...
a 2jz motor will cost you at least twice more,yes it does have more power and potential for huge HP..but a stock 7m vs a 2j i think your looking...

yeah you have to have 4runner fenders or 4wd fenders they are the same the corner lights are different between 2wd and 4x4
