quality adapters and torque them down correctly. I've been on 1.25" adapters (bolt on spacers) for about a year or so. 16x7.5's would look good...
gearing may be different, see what axle code it is too, and the 84-88's may be an inch narrower

my factory 2wd oil pan doesn't sit past the front cross member i believe.... if i'm correct, the 2wd and 4wd should be the same. rockauto.com...
