Yea 310* is not recommended for stock engines, just something I wanted to test out for myself... The 280* comp is your best all around cam...

They should bolt straight on... Try cleaning the hub and the rim's center bore of any crud, rust, etc... It's a snug fit but, you shouldn't need...
If the pan hasn't been dropped before you'll need a large sized screw driver or small pry bar to seperate the pan from the block... The factory...
