Have you cleaned the tank out? Maybe something got caught in the fuel pickup
225 is pretty square on a 8" wheel. 235 probably wont be much different, 225 is more common tho

Yea those U bolts are too big around the axle. Axle tube size is 2.5" iirc
Pull the front bump stop and bracket. Cut like half a turn at a time til you like where it sits. And the shocks will be more and more compressed...

Pull a leaf if you want a 4"+ drop. Shorter shocks shouldnt be necessary out back
205/70 is a big ass tire. 195/65 or a 185 tire will look better especially if you lower it a little i have 175/70's on my 14s and they look huge
