I just make it tight till i cant turn it anymore... The problem is the aluminum block... Steel axles win if something has to give. :lol:
Weld or centerlines seem to be the lightest i've tried... Chk the for sale section too.... :D
Got the locked diff installed in the 82 and in the process of breaking it in/heat cycling the gears.... Had to changed out the leaf spring...
Do you have a 2-piece driveshaft? Could be U-joints or center bearing if it's a 2-piece driveshaft...
