got a 2.5 inch c-notch on my truck with leaf springs & air shocks.
Something that people tend to over look is the freeze plugs in the side of the block. They can leak very slowly & it be hard to see/locate.

This what I did on my 91...you can see that I moved the battery to bed, fuse box to where the battery was & you can see what I did with the coil...
I paid $1200 for a stock motor so I agree that you should ask atleast $1500 & take no less than a $1000 for it.

Should bolt right in...a few plugs on your harness might be different, but thats nothing to fix. One more thing to check too...check the injector...
