I have a V6 2WD 8" axle in my truck. Not all 8" axles are 6lugs if that's what you meant.
XtraCab's were a chassis/ body option. All XCab's have rear quarter windows. I believe 1990-1995 was the year range fro Xcab's.

I wouldn't trade it. and make sure you tighten that alternator bolt (the big and small one, both!) I lost the big one before, driving.
