Update! So I got the engine to run pretty good now, got the correct air cleaner, plugged the unused ports in the intake with the LCE kit, blocked...
Replaced the gasket for the thermostat housing to fix a small leak, to find an even bigger leak at the drain plug (censor **** the real word LOL)...

Slapped a new donut gasket onto the exhaust manifold, only to find out the EGR pipe is now leaking. :runaway:
The DF series doesn't have throttle shaft bushings. I'll have to ream out the hole for a brass bushing ala rebuilding a Holley. Oh well. :doah:
