get me a picture of the center of the axle (center of the drum) if it has 2 casting lines, its a 7.5. if it has 4 casting lines, its a 8". easiest...

yea... the aluminum/composite ones are crimped and sealed with an epoxy... the areas near the ports arent crimped since the hose connections are...
gearing on the tacoma rears are pretty much the same as the earlier trucks... the 7.5's are interchangeable between taco and pre-taco rearends....

yea... the tacoma rear end will bolt up, the only thing is the T for the brake lines are on the wrong side so you have to swap that. the 8"...
as far as i know yes they do fit. ive used a newer header on an older motor without issues... the only issue you may run into is the air injection...
