what do you mean play in cylinders 2 and 3? also what rings are you useing and how high are you reving it? have you figured out where you are...
you dont need the man ecu, the auto ecu should work with a man if you dont care about check engine lights.
i would get some specs of how high the motor is, if it fits do it sounds like a fun swap.
my 73 is the same as a 74 not the 69-72 bodystyle. i think 73 and 74 have a different grill setup then the 75-78
awesome drawing, but 73 and 74 are different front ends from the 75 up... so the different bodys are 69-72, 73-74, 75-78, 79-83, 84-88, 89-94...

i would bed there is a difference. do you have your old booster still?
there is a serperate backup switch acording to nodata. maybe pull column apart and see if there is a switch
never heard of it with air bags, only hydrolics. with hydros it softens the rids so you dont feel like you are driving a tractor down the road....

Did you push that button on the side of the shift stalk? that disables the lockup, but i doubt the lockup is your issue. good luck
ya but finding parts to rebuild that carb will be a bitch. you will get more power and better mileage outta the weber. if you want the old look...

ditch the stock carb and throw a weber on, you cant really find parts for the old old toyota carbs anymore. good luck with your build
