find an auto from a 84-88. have you tried cal mini dismantlers ? you might also need a different throttle linkage. dont they have a kickdown cable?
i pulled mine off last night. its just a rubber bushing where the factory air cleaner mounts.

also, do you have any photos where the U-shaped bracket is mounted to the weber? i might just go with a weber after all...
